Goodwill Message By Auta Nyada, Esq. On The Occasion Of The NBA Maiduguri And Biu Branches Law Week 2022

I am thrilled to be accorded the rare privilege of saying a few words in respect to the just concluded law week of these two branches that have survived and thrived against all odds stacked high.
My special appreciation first goes to the Branch Chairmen of both Maiduguri & Biu branches of the NBA. Your resilience in the face of the ever worrisome menace of banditry and terrorism has left us all in awe of your willpower and resilience.
Your courageous strides reminds us daily that Courage is the greatest of all virtues, because if you haven’t courage, you may not have an opportunity to use any of the others, and that success is never final, failure is never fatal but it is courage that counts.
May I most humbly commend the leadership of both branches for leading their branches with so much foresight and zest! We are proud of the dynamic improvements you have brought to bear on your members and Branch as a whole.
I wish to quickly appreciate the Law week planning Committee for the sheer diligence in garnering resources to put together an event such as this in keeping faith with the age-long tradition of the Profession.
The choice of this year’s theme for the law week is apposite and its aptness cannot be over-emphasized. The theme speaks volume about HOPE in Adversity.
The importance of putting together a law week in the face of the menacing insecurity in Borno State, deserves immense commendation and it is my sincere hope that the gains of the just concluded law week will yield abundance of positive improvement in our ability to access Justice through the instrumentality and Use of Technology.
Thank you all once more for giving me this opportunity to share my thoughts with you.
Auta Nyada Esq.
Member, NBA Welfare Committee and Co-opted NEC Rep, Suleja Branch.
