Ghanaian Lady Stuns Many As She Pursues Career In Law After Years As Qualified Nurse

A Ghanaian nurse, Leah Afoakwa, has achieved an extraordinary feat by returning to school to study law and subsequently getting called to the Bar.
Leah, a healthcare professional, graduated with the 2023 set, and her journey reflects her unwavering commitment to both saving and defending lives.
Leah Afoakwa, who had already established herself as a compassionate and skilled nurse, felt a deep passion for not only saving lives but also defending the rights and well-being of those she cared for.
Her remarkable transition from nursing to law was driven by a desire to advocate for her patients on a different level.

During an interview with Leah, she was asked about how she planned to manage the demands of these two distinct professions.
Leah said;
“I will strategize in order to meet the demands of both professions. I intend to impart the knowledge I have acquired unto my colleagues in the healthcare profession and to also enlighten them on the increasing rate of medical negligence suits.”
The lady’s passion and zeal to make a great impact in the lives of her patients as a nurse and in the lives of her clients as a lawyer is indeed inspiring and many folks have expressed their congratulations to her and urged her toward achieving more.
