Former Governor El-Rufai Denies PDP Defection, Threatens Legal Action

Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, has firmly dismissed rumors suggesting he has joined the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). El-Rufai, a founding member of the All Progressives Congress (APC), emphasized his continued allegiance to the party, where he served as a key figure during his tenure as Kaduna State governor from 2015 to 2023. He has also referred the matter to his lawyers, threatening legal action against those spreading the misinformation.
