Eze Igbo Ghana Receives Delegation Of Nigerian Lawyers During AfBA Conference In Accra

A delegation of Nigerian lawyers attending the African Bar Association (AfBA) Annual Conference in Ghana has paid homage to Eze Dr. Chukwudi Jude Ihenetu, the Eze Igbo Ghana, during a courtesy visit to his palace in Accra.
The visit, held on the sidelines of the conference, symbolized respect for culture and strengthened cross-border unity among African professionals. The delegation described the meeting as both symbolic and significant, recognizing the Eze’s role as a bridge between Nigerians and Ghanaians.
Eze Ihenetu, known for his humility and devotion to community peace, warmly welcomed the legal team. He praised their commitment to justice, integrity, and the rule of law across Africa. While addressing the visitors, the Eze Igbo Ghana reminded them that leadership must always be anchored in compassion and service. “True leadership,” he said, “is not measured by power, but by the ability to uplift others with dignity and compassion.”
The meeting featured cultural exchange, lively discussions, and moments of shared reflection on the importance of unity in Africa’s development. According to participants, the Eze Igbo Ghana exemplifies a leadership model that promotes inclusivity and cross-cultural understanding within the African community.
The lawyers, representing Nigeria’s vibrant legal community, also emphasized that collaboration among African nations remains vital for continental progress. They observed that the legal profession, much like traditional leadership, has the responsibility to uphold justice and build trust across borders.
As the AfBA Conference continues to drive conversations on governance and human rights, the encounter with Eze Ihenetu stood out as a reminder that law and leadership both thrive when rooted in humanity and cultural pride. The visit reinforced the message that Africa’s future depends on leaders—traditional and professional—who value unity, dignity, and service to others.
