BREAKING: Five (5) Branches Of NBA In Enugu State Adopt Yakubu Chonoko (Y. C) Maikyau SAN As Preferred Candidate For NBA President (VIDEO)

On the 22nd of June, 2022 the 5 Branches of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) in Enugu State to wit: Enugu, Nsukka, Oji River, Ezeagu and Obolloafor adopted Yakubu Chonoko (Y.C) Maikyau, SAN as the preferred candidate of the entire Bar in Enugu State, for the office of President in the forthcoming NBA National Elections, holding on the 16th of July, 2022.

The motion was moved by the Chairman, NBA Enugu Branch, Sir Jude Ezegwui immediately after Y.C Maikyau, SAN addressed members of the ENBAR on his vision for a dynamic Bar that works for all during the interactive meeting organised by Tochukwu Maduka, SAN (State Coordinator) on behalf of Friends of Y.C Maikyau, SAN in Enugu.

The motion was supported by the Chairman, NBA Oji River Branch, Seth Nwokolo; Chairman Ezeagu Branch, Nnadiume Oforkansi; Chairman Nsukka Branch, Fred Ukwueze; and Chairman Obollo-Afor Branch, Charlie Ugwu.

The event was awesome as members took turns to deliver positive speeches about Y.C Maikyau, SAN and were delighted by the decision of ENBAR.

The Chairman of NBA Enugu Branch, Sir Jude Ezegwui who moved the motion, eulogised the rare qualities of Y. C. Maikyau, SAN whom he described as an humble, friendly and accessible personality and praised him for the great feat he has achieved as the Chairman of NBA Welfare Committee, through which succour has come to members of the legal profession in Nigeria, especially the Young Lawyers.

The leaders of the Bar also urged members to massively support Mr. Maikyau, SAN who has what it takes and has shown capacity to lead the Bar.
