Establishment Of NBA Stabilisation Fund And Commencement Of Access To Finance Scheme For Lawyers
The NBA recently established the NBA Stabilisation Fund to promote a savings and investment culture within the Association and has also concluded arrangements for an Access to Finance Scheme under which lawyers can obtain loans from designated banks at less than market rates.
These two arrangements were approved by the National Executive Council of the NBA at its most recent meeting held on Thursday, 16th December 2021.
Attached is a letter from the President of the NBA, Mr. Olumide Akpata, providing further details on each of these, and indicating how lawyers can access or benefit from the loan scheme.
