EFCC Grills Bobrisky For Naira Abuse

The Lagos Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has initiated an investigation into Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, over allegations of spraying Naira notes at public events.

The EFCC’s probe of the 31-year-old social media personality was prompted by a video report depicting him spraying and displaying bundles of new Naira notes during the premiere of a movie.

Further investigation by the EFCC uncovered additional instances where Bobrisky allegedly engaged in similar behavior at various event centers and parties.

In response to the EFCC’s invitation, Bobrisky voluntarily appeared at the Lagos Zonal Command of the EFCC on the morning of Thursday, April 4, 2024, for questioning and provided his statements.

Upon the conclusion of investigations, Bobrisky is expected to be charged to court to answer to the allegations brought against him.

Stay tuned for updates on this developing story as the EFCC continues its investigation into the matter.
