ECNBA Invites Prospective Candidates For Opening Of Nominations Ceremony

The Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association (ECNBA) has extended an invitation to all prospective candidates who have submitted nomination forms for the NBA 2024 Elections. The purpose of the invitation, signed by Oluseun Abimbola SAN, Chairman, and Huwaila Ibrahim, Secretary of the ECNBA, is to attend the opening of nominations ceremony, either in person or by nominating a representative.

The opening of nominations ceremony signifies the beginning of the next phase of engagement for prospective candidates in the election process. It provides an opportunity for candidates or their representatives to formally witness the opening of the nomination envelopes of respective candidates.

Transparency in the electoral process is paramount, and the ECNBA encourages all prospective candidates to attend the event alone or nominate one representative. It is emphasized that no candidate should bring supporters to the venue or the event.

Details of the opening of nominations ceremony are as follows:

Date: Monday, 15th April 2024
Time: 11:00 am
Location: ECNBA Secretariat, NBA Human Rights Institute Building, No. 9 Oro Ago Crescent Garki, Abuja

The participation of prospective candidates at this ceremony is crucial for ensuring the transparency, integrity, and fairness of the NBA elections.

Any inquiries or requests for further information can be directed to the ECNBA.
