Condolence Message By Y. C. Maikyau, SAN, FCIArb. (U.K.) On The Glorious Demise Of Chief Omenife Guy Ike Ikokwu

I commiserate, on behalf of my family and I, with the wife and family, the Lagos Branch of the Nigeria Bar Association, Otu Oka-iwu , the good people and the Government of Anambra State, on the sad demise of their illustrious Son- Chief Omenife Guy Ike Ikokwu; a quintessential politician of no mean repute and a Bar man extra-ordinaire, who, until his sudden demise, served his people and the Bar with a great sense of commitment, responsibility, passion and competence.

His death is certainly a colossal loss, not only to his immediate family but to the people of Anambra State, and indeed the legal profession. We would sorely miss him.

Notwithstanding our grief, it is our consolation that our dear departed Chief lived an impactful and most fulfilled life. It is my fervent prayer that his soul will continue to find repose in the Lord as He accepts him in paradise. I also pray that the good Lord grant his family and relations the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

Once again, accept my heartfelt and sincere condolences.
