Chidi Udekwe Secures Landslide Victory As New Otu Oka Iwu, Abuja Chairman [PHOTOS]

In a resounding win, Chidiebere Nwabueze Udekwe clinched victory over his rival, Chief Dan Nwabodo, in the election held by the Otu Oka Iwu, a Pan Igbo Lawyers Association. The election marks a significant transition as Udekwe assumes the role previously held by Ejiofor Onwuaso, who was at the helm of the Association for the past three years.
Under Onwuaso’s stewardship, the Association achieved notable milestones, including the implementation of the “igba boyi” flagship program. This initiative aims to train young Igbo lawyers in Abuja, nurturing their legal skills and expertise.
With a reputation for strong leadership demonstrated in various capacities, Udekwe is poised to lead the Association to new heights. Expectations are high, considering the standard set by Onwuaso’s administration.
Certificates of return were also presented to other elected officials:
– Stella Charles Akupue as Vice Chairman
– Ogechukwu Okafor as Secretary
– Kenneth Eyeke as Assistant Secretary
– Eudorah Ezeonye as Financial Secretary
– Emeka Silas Agbara as Treasurer
– Chukwuma Obi as Welfare Secretary
– Emeka Nwali as Provost
As the new leadership takes the helm, members anticipate continued progress and advancement under Udekwe’s expert guidance.
