BREAKING: Tribunal Sacks Osun Gov Adeleke

The Election Petition Tribunal chaired by Justice Tertse Kume has sacked Osun Governor Senator Ademola Adeleke.
The majority judgement of two judges against one ordered that Certificate of Return should be withdrawn from Adeleke and issued to Oyetola.
The Presiding Judge of the panel, Justice Tertsea Kume while reading the judgment in Osogbo, stated that the conduct of the election was not in compliance with the Electoral Act. Justice Kume explained that there was over voting in six polling units during the election and maintained that, after the deduction of the valid votes cast from over-voting at these polling units, Adegboyega Oyetola of the All Progressives Congress polled 314,941 while Ademola Adeleke of the Peoples Democratic Party polled 290,266.
