BREAKING: 81 Arrested In Sokoto During #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria Protest
The Sokoto State Command of the Nigerian Police Force reported the arrest of no fewer than 81 suspects during the #EndBadGovernanceInNigeria protest on Thursday. The arrests were made for various offenses committed under the guise of participating in the peaceful protest.
ASP Ahmed Rufai, the command’s spokesman, confirmed the arrests while speaking to our correspondent on Thursday night. Rufai stated that the individuals arrested were allegedly involved in criminal activities during the protest.
He assured that further details regarding the arrests would be disclosed in an upcoming press statement.
