Auta Nyada Congratulates NBA Bauchi Branch On The Occasion Of Her Law Week

A past Secretary of the Young Lawyers Forum (YLF) Governing Council and Member, Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) National Welfare Committee, Auta Nyada has congratulated the Bauchi branch of the Nigerian Bar Association on the occasion of her law week.
Read his congratulatory message below:
I am delighted to congratulate the distinguished Members and the Executives of the Nigerian Bar Association, Bauchi Branch under the poignant and vibrant leadership of Jibrin S. Jibrin, Esq. for steering wheels of the remarkable event.
I am of the frantic opinion that this year’s theme, ”2023 Transition in Nigeria and its issues: Learned Minds and the Path to Follow” has embellished the conversation on this year’s Law Week to be germane and highly intuitive.
The choice of the theme under reference is no doubt a pointer to the fact that the Bauchi Branch is not only abreast with the current political realities in Nigeria, but far beyond that, the branch has the willingness to contribute its qouta towards ensuring that the Legal Profession plays a vital role on the future and fortunes of our great Nation in 2023 and beyond.
We are indeed in a stage where all critical stakeholders must overwhelmingly approach the current political uncertainties with an all-hands-on-deck approach. This ideal presumption is an expected responsibility that we, as erudite scholars of jurisprudence owe the unborn generations in this Country if we must have a Country beyond the political tension and clamour for power orchestrated by the 2023 Elections. On this note, I urge the Lawyers to swing into action now or never.
Thomas Jefferson once said, “The care of human life and happiness and not destruction, is the first and only object of good government.” As we approach 2023, the above qoute should be our guiding principle in the discharge of our duties as Counsel, Judges/Justices and Politicians. The preservation of human life (in dignity) and happiness should be our driving force in our engagements and the determination of who takes over the mechinery of government.
I commend the Law Week Planning Committee for their choice of the entire resource persons to anchor and chart through the Law Week and with the quality of such persons, I have no doubt in my mind that this year’s Law Week will leave an indelible mark on the annals of history.
Without bias, I believe that the benefits of this year’s Law Week will lead to the reformation of our society for the dawn of a new era that will emphasize on the unity of Nigeria and not otherwise.
In conclusion, I say, Congratulations once again on your plausible accomplishments.
Long Live NBA Bauchi Branch.,
Long Live NBA National.,
Long Live Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Auta Nyada, Esq.
Member, NBA Welfare Committee.
