APC Deputy Spokesman Applauds Tinubu’s North Central Development Commission Act

The Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Durosinmi Meseko, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for signing the North Central Development Commission (NCDC) Act into law.

In a statement, Meseko described the move as a “monumental step” toward addressing developmental challenges in the North Central region, including poverty, unemployment, and infrastructure deficits.

“This is a victory for the people of the North Central. We are confident that the NCDC will bring much-needed development and improve the lives of our people,” he said.

The NCDC Act, recently passed by the National Assembly, seeks to drive sustainable development in the region by funding key sectors such as infrastructure, education, and healthcare.

Under Tinubu’s leadership, the APC has reaffirmed its commitment to equitable national development, with the creation of the NCDC seen as a crucial step in bridging regional disparities.

Meseko expressed hope that the NCDC would work closely with government agencies and local communities to ensure the effective execution of its mandate, delivering tangible benefits to the people of the North Central region.
