ALSA Appoints Nigerian As Its New Vice President Administration

The International Council of the African Law Students’ Association (ALSA) has appointed  Mr. Samuel Madueke, as the  Vice President Administration. He is the third person to occupy such a sensitive Executive position after his two predecessors thus Mr James Aaporekuu from the Republic of Ghana (2022 – 2022)  (as he then was) and now the President/Chairman of the African Law Students’ Association. Therefrom, H.E. Luckson Chibaye from the Republic of Zambia took over from July 2022 to October 2022 and now H.E. Samuel Madueke.

The African Law Students’ Association (ALSA) is an international, non-profit, non-governmental, non-partisan and non-political organisation run by and for Africa’s undergraduate law students and recent graduates who desire to achieve academic, professional and personal excellence in addition to their conventional law studies.

In an announcement by the ALSA President, H. E. James Aaporekuu and congratulatory message to the newly appointed Vice President Administration, Aaporekuu postulated that, H.E. Samuel Madueke’s hardwork, dedication and sense of approaching critical issues earned him this opportunity.

Samuel Madueke is a hardworking and an  enthusiastic graduate of law with a keen interest in unlocking opportunities in the Africa’s global development and particularly in the aspect of law, leadership, geography, legislature, business, politics and all other human endeavours.

He is a graphics designer, leadership coach, lawmaker, blogger, business consultant, educationist, I.T Guru, researcher, volunteer, historian and a politician.

He’s also interested in human, community and urban, human capital and human resource development.

Prior to his appointment as the Vice President Administration, African Law Students’ Association, he has served ALSA as its Ambassador to Abia State University and its Head Of Finance.

He has also served in other Associations, in various other capacities such as Public Relations Officer, Christian Law Students’ Association of Nigeria, Abia State University Chapter, Secretary General, Christian Law Students’ Association Of Nigeria, Abia State University Chapter, General Secretary ICT Department of the Abia State University Law Clinic, Vice President of Firm, Lord Denning Law Firm Abia State University, State Counsel, Law Students’ Association of Nigeria, Abia State University Ministry of Justice, Chief Media, The Legal Issues International, Chief Media, The Heartfelt Movement, Senior Special Adviser to the Vice President of the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria, Abia State University Chapter, Chairman of the Abia State University Bar Council Election Committee for the 2021/2022 election, the LAWSAECO screening committee Chairman of the 2021/2022 LAWSAN-ABSU general elections, Chairman of the Abia State Law Students’ Association(ALSA) Campaign Committee and also the Chairman of the Abia State Law Students’ Association(ALSA) town hall meeting/get-together for the 2021 august occasion.

Currently, he is the Vice Chairman, Abia State Law Students’ Association(ALSA) Award Committee and the Vice Chairman Administration, West African Students Against Drugs(WASAD) Nigeria.

He represented his Firm at the Chief Umezurike SAN Moot and Mock trial Competition as a research member, his immediate and last class at the LAWSAN-ABSU House of Representatives as a House Representative, as well as his school, Abia State University at the LAWSAN National Senate, the 4th Law Students’ Association Of Nigeria Senate.

He has been honoured as the Overall Staff of Year 2020 by The Legal Issues International, Most Influential Lawmaker of the South East Nigeria by the Legal Issues International 2021, Special Recognition Award by the Legal Issues International 2021, Landmark Achievement Award as Legacy Senator by the Umunneochi Student’s Union, ABSU Umuahia Campus 2022, Action Senator Award by the LAWSAN-ABSU 2022, Special Recognition Award by the Abia State Law Students’ Association(ALSA) 2021, Legacy Maker of the 19th LAWSAN-ABSU House by the LAWSAN-ABSU House of Representatives 2022, Senator of the Year by the Law Students’ Association of Nigeria(LAWSAN) National Senate 2021 and other awards cum Certifications.
