Al-Bashir Lawal Likko Appointed as Coopted Member of ICMC Governing Council

The Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators (ICMC) has appointed Al-Bashir Lawal Likko as a Coopted Member of its Governing Council.
The appointment, effective from June 28, 2024, brings Likko on board the administration led by Godwin Omoaka, SAN, for the 2024-2026 term.
In the appointment letter dated July 2, 2024, the ICMC highlighted Likko’s exceptional reputation and expertise in mediation and conciliation. His role will involve active participation in council meetings, providing strategic guidance, contributing to the institute’s initiatives, and representing the ICMC in various forums.
Likko, a private legal practitioner based in FCT-Abuja, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Management Law from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is the founder and Managing Partner of Likko & Associates (Legal Practitioners, Arbitrators, Mediators & Notary Public). He is a Fellow of both the Institute of Chartered Mediators and Conciliators of Nigeria (FICMC) and the Nigerian Immigration Lawyers Association. Additionally, he is an Associate Member of the Institute of Islamic Finance Professionals, Nigeria (IIFP) and a ‘CIAE’ Certified Islamic Arbitrator & Expert (Dubai, UAE).
The ICMC expressed confidence that Likko’s contributions will significantly benefit the organization and looks forward to his insights and leadership in furthering its mission and objectives.
