AGC 2023: NBA Abuja Branch Set To Welcome Conferees With Mega Party [Details]
The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), has sent a warm welcome to conferees at the association’s Annual General Conference holding in Abuja, the Federal capital Territory.
In a notice sighted by The Metro Lawyer (TML), the Abuja Branch AGC welcome party is scheduled to hold on Monday the 28th of August 2023 at Cubana Lounge, Wuse 2, Abuja starting from 9pm. Lawyers will have access to the venue upon presentation of their AGC registration tag.
In a related development, the Secretary of the branch, Isiaka Musa, Esq. has invited members to join the President of the Bar, Mr Y.C Maikyau, OON, SAN; Chairman AGC Planning Committee, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN; the Chairman of Abuja Branch, Mr. Afam Okeke and other distinguished colleagues for the NBA AGC 2023 Health Walk/Carnival scheduled for tomorrow SATURDAY 26th August, 2023. Time is 6:30am prompt.
The take off point for the health walk is the NBA National Secretariat (NBA House) Central Business District, Abuja.

He has also informed members that the collection of conference materials which had commenced in earnest in the last one week, continues today. Members are advised to go to the National Stadium, package B, Mammy Market boots 2, 3, 4, and 5 for collection, with a valid means of ID (photocopy and original for sighting) and their conference registration number for collection.
Collection by proxy will require the following documents;
a. Hard copy of a letter of authority attached with the persons’ means of ID
b. The proxy must come with his original means of ID and submit a photocopy of the same.
Meanwhile the conference has started on a great note for the Unity Bar, as the female football team of the branch came out victorious in its football match against Benin branch. The scores were 2-0 in favour of Unity Bar.
