AfBA And LAZ Host 2024 Annual Conference On Strengthening Africa’s Legal Frameworks
The African Bar Association (AfBA), in collaboration with the Law Association of Zambia (LAZ), has launched its 2024 Annual Conference at the Mulungushi International Conference Center in Lusaka, Zambia. Running from October 27th to 31st, 2024, the conference brings together legal professionals, policymakers, and industry experts under the theme: “Building Credible Legal Frameworks to Enhance Intra-African Trade, Project Financing, and Industrialization of Africa.”
The event will feature a keynote address by Professor Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu and welcomes President Hakainde Hichilema of Zambia as the Special Guest of Honour, alongside Chief Justice Dr. Mumba Malila and Attorney General Mulilo Kabesha.
Distinguished figures, including AfBA President Hannibal Egbe Uwaifo, LAZ President Lungisani Zulu, and Mr. Joseph B. Daudu, SAN, Chairman of AfBA’s Board of Trustees, will lead discussions aimed at fostering cohesive legal strategies across Africa.
Other members of the Nigerian delegation include Chief J. K.
