Afam Okeke Applauds MULAN’s 16th Annual Conference on AI, Law, and Religion in Ilorin

Afam Okeke, Immediate Past Chairman of NBA Abuja, has congratulated the leadership and members of the Muslim Lawyers Association of Nigeria (MULAN). The occasion was MULAN’s 16th Annual Conference holding in the historic city of Ilorin, Kwara State.

Okeke described the conference theme, “Artificial Intelligence, Law and Religion in Nigeria,” as highly relevant to the nation’s current social and technological realities. He said the theme would encourage critical discussions and foster positive interventions within the legal profession.

He expressed confidence that the conference would produce thought-provoking debates that could influence legal practice and policy in Nigeria. According to Okeke, the intersections of artificial intelligence, law, and religion present complex challenges that lawyers must understand deeply.

MULAN, he noted, has shown great leadership in organizing a conference that reflects pressing issues facing Nigerian lawyers and society. He praised MULAN’s commitment to addressing the evolving needs of legal professionals through such innovative forums.

Okeke also wished all conference participants safe journeys to Ilorin and back to their various homes. He emphasized the importance of such gatherings in strengthening legal networks and promoting professional development.

The 16th MULAN Annual Conference attracted lawyers and scholars from across Nigeria. Its focus on artificial intelligence highlights the increasing role technology plays in law and religious practices. The event promises to influence future conversations around ethics, legislation, and human rights in Nigeria’s legal landscape.

Afam Okeke’s commendation underscores the significance of MULAN’s ongoing efforts to promote meaningful dialogue on contemporary legal challenges. The conference is expected to yield valuable outcomes benefiting both the Nigerian legal community and society at large.
