Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro Urges Lawyers To Uphold Justice And Integrity During Lent
As the Lenten season begins, Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Aare Olumuyiwa Akinboro, has called on legal professionals to reflect on the core values of justice, integrity, and service to humanity.
In a message to his colleagues, Akinboro emphasized the significance of self-examination and renewal, urging lawyers to remain steadfast in their commitment to truth and fairness.
“This season calls us to self-examination, renewal, and a commitment to doing what is right, not just in the eyes of the law but in the sight of God and humanity,” he stated.
Encouraging members of the legal profession to use this period for spiritual growth, he urged them to show compassion, uphold ethical standards, and rededicate themselves to the pursuit of justice.
“May this period of prayer, fasting, and almsgiving bring us closer to God and strengthen our resolve to be true ministers of justice,” he added.
Akinboro, a past General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association and Life Bencher, wished all legal practitioners a reflective and spiritually fulfilling Lent.
