Bobrisky Hospitalized For ‘Severe Breast Pain’ While In Police Custody

Nigerian crossdresser Okuneye Idris, popularly known as Bobrisky, was rushed to the hospital after complaining of severe “breast pain” while in police custody at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) Annex in Alagbon, Lagos.

Bobrisky, who spent the night in a police cell, was taken to Falomo Police Hospital on Wednesday afternoon for urgent medical attention. Sources within the FCID confirmed that the crossdresser was transported in an ambulance around 2:00 p.m. after reporting discomfort.

“Bobrisky complained of ‘breast pain’ and was taken to the Police Hospital in Falomo in an ambulance with the plate number LND 339L,” a source said. It was reported that Bobrisky covered his face with a shawl while lying down in the ambulance to avoid being noticed.

This medical emergency occurred just as authorities were preparing to transfer Bobrisky to the Special Fraud Unit (SFU), overseen by the Commissioner of Police. To manage public attention, the police used an ambulance with a different plate number, LLD 339LP, but the urgency of the situation led them to prioritize his health care before continuing with the legal process.

Bobrisky’s health scare follows his recent arrest at the Seme-Nigerian border, where he was reportedly attempting to flee to the Benin Republic. According to a source from the Immigration Service, the arrest took place during a routine passport check.

Bobrisky’s arrest came just hours before he was expected to attend a Senate panel investigating allegations against him. His sudden hospitalization has added another twist to the ongoing legal saga, which has drawn widespread public interest.
