Senate President Akpabio Mourns Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Citing A Significant Loss For The National Assembly
President of the Senate, Senator Godswill Akpabio, has expressed profound shock and sorrow over the sudden death of Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Petroleum (Downstream). Ubah represented Anambra South in the Upper Chamber until his passing.
In a heartfelt condolence message delivered by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Hon. Eseme Eyiboh, Akpabio conveyed deep sadness over Senator Ubah’s demise, stating that his death leaves a significant void in the National Assembly. He described Ubah as a distinguished figure in Nigeria’s democracy, known for his vibrant and resourceful ideas.
“Senator Ifeanyi Ubah was a hardworking and dependable legislator who believed in equity, fairness, and justice. He was committed to serving his constituents and the nation at large,” Akpabio remarked.
