Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja Congratulates Its Members And Newly Elected National NBA Executives, Advocates For Tenure Extension
Otu Oka-Iwu, Abuja- a Pan Igbo association of lawyers, has extended heartfelt congratulations to its members who achieved significant victories in the recently concluded Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) elections.
Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN, was elected as President, Lolo Bridget Edokwe as Publicity Secretary, and Mazi Eric Ibe as a Member of the General Council, all winning by a landslide. The organization expressed gratitude to its members for their unwavering support and confidence in these leaders, emphasizing their belief in the trio’s ability to fulfill their campaign promises.

Highlighting the need for more stability and consolidation of programs, President of Otu Oka-Iwu Abuja, called for a review of the NBA officials’ tenure, proposing an extension from two to three years. He submitted that a three-year term would provide sufficient time for achieving substantial progress and solidifying accomplishments.
