NBA President Appoints Caretaker Committees for Newly Created Branches
In a significant development, the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has announced the formation of Caretaker Committees for its two newly established branches, the NBA Surulere Branch and the NBA Eti-Osa Branch. This move signifies a crucial step towards establishing effective leadership structures in these burgeoning branches.
According to the announcement which was signed by the association’s General Secretary Adesina Adegbite, members of the NBA are hereby informed of the appointment of recognized leaders to oversee the initial phases of these branches. These appointed committees are tasked with the responsibility of facilitating the emergence of duly elected branch officers for the oth NBA Surulere Branch and the NBA Eti-Osa Branch.
The Caretaker Committees, as appointed by the NBA President, are as follows:
A. Surulere Branch:
Chairman: Adeleke Agbola, SAN
Secretary: Ita Azim
Members: Roseline Akinbo, Chuka Adimonye, Ganiyu Adebowale Johnson
B. Eti-Osa Branch:
Chairman: Olawale Ajia
Secretary: Chinyere Akwueze Nwaogu
Members: Clifford Orighomisan Atakere, Hauwa Halidu, Ganiyu Adebowale Johnson
The NBA urged all members of these newly created branches to extend their utmost support and cooperation to the Caretaker Committees. This collaborative effort is vital for ensuring the successful execution of their responsibilities.
