Legal Luminary Olukayode Ajulo, SAN Makes Ondo State Commissioner-Nominee List, Aiyedatiwa Commended

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has revealed the names of commissioner-nominees, with prominent lawyer Olukayode Ajulo, SAN, among those selected. The list of nominees, consisting of six individuals, has been submitted to the House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan, made this announcement in a statement released on Friday. The nomination follows the recent appointment of Mr. Olaide Adelami as the deputy governor, just hours after the governor’s decision to dismiss all commissioners and special advisers on Wednesday.
The nominated commissioners are Mrs. Omowumi Isaac; Mr. Olukayode A. Ajulo, SAN; Razaq Obe; Pastor Emmanuel Igbasan; Akinwumi Sowore, and Mr. Oseni Oyeniyi.
In addition to the commissioner nominees, the governor has appointed three individuals as Special Advisers: Olugbenga Omole (Special Adviser on Information and Strategy), Mrs. Olamide Falana (Special Adviser on Gender Affairs), and Mr. Alabi Johnson (Special Adviser on Energy).
The nomination of Olukayode A. Ajulo, SAN, as Commissioner has garnered praise, particularly from Mr. Daramola Adesuyi, the founder of the Daramola Adesuyi Foundation (DAF). Adesuyi commended Governor Aiyedatiwa for the selection, describing Ajulo as an icon in the legal profession in Nigeria and a mentor to many, including himself.
Adesuyi expressed optimism about Ajulo’s potential contributions, citing his laudable track record in law practice and private life. The DAF founder congratulated the legal professional and Senior Advocate of Nigeria on his nomination, expressing confidence in Ajulo’s ability to excel in any official portfolio assigned to him.
