BREAKING: Imam Kashim Imam’s Nomination As FERMA Chair Withdrawn
President Bola Tinubu has directed the withdrawal of the nomination of Imam Kashim Imam for the chairman position of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA) board.
A Thursday statement from the president’s special adviser on media & publicity pointed out that the withdrawal was with ‘immediate effect.’
Ajuri Ngelale said all the other appointments to the board and executive management team of FERMA were unaffected.
There was furore in some quarters when the 24-year-old Imam was nominated for the FERMA board chairman position.
Some commentators said he was inexperienced and too young while others argued in favor of his youthfulness.

President Bola Tinubu has directed the withdrawal of the nomination of Engr. Imam Kashim Imam to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Federal Roads Maintenance Agency (FERMA).
The President’s withdrawal of the above-mentioned nomination is directed with immediate effect.
All other appointments to the Board and Executive Management team of FERMA are not affected by this directive.
