Yesterday, the 21st of August 2023, the Students Representative Council of the Nigerian Law School, Abuja played host to distinguished Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Mazi Afam Osigwe, SAN at their annual summit.
Osigwe, who delivered an inspiring keynote address at the summit dwelt on the theme “Millennial Lawyers: Advancing into Legal Practice”.
Mr Osigwe’s words resonated deeply with all the aspiring lawyers in the audience, highlighting the paramount importance of innovation and collaboration in the legal profession. His insights shed light on the ever-evolving landscape of the legal world and how the millennial generation has the incredible opportunity to drive positive change through these values.
He stated that in a rapidly changing world, innovation is no longer just an option – it is necessary, urging the young legal minds present to think outside the box, embrace new technologies, and find creative solutions to complex legal challenges.
In his message, MAO as he is fondly addressed, emphasised on collaboration, noting that today’s legal practice extends beyond individual efforts, demanding strong teamwork and partnerships to navigate intricate cases successfully.
The summit attendees were also reminded that millennial lawyers can forge a more robust, united front in pursuing justice by pooling diverse talents and perspectives.
