Anambra To Introduce Revenue Court

Logistics are in top gear for the establishment of a revenue court in Anambra State.
Commissioner for Transport in Anambra State, Mrs. Patricia Igwebuike, gave the hint during an interface with newsmen in Awka, yesterday.
Explaining that the court will help government fast-track prosecution of revenue offenders in the state, Mrs. Igwebuike said bringing justice for illegal revenue collectors will be given priority attention.
According to her, those that will not be spared by the court include impersonators of government revenue enforcement teams, touts issuing fake revenue receipts and revenue agents collecting cash. Speaking further, Mrs. Igwebuike, solicited community and religious leaders’ support in taking the message to the grassroots for greater result and impact in the state government’s fight against fake and illegal revenue collection
