The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Abuja Branch (Unity Bar), Afamefuna O. Okeke, has saluted the tireless effort and dedication of women to make the world a better and more equal place.
Speaking with The Metro Lawyer (TML), Okeke said that every woman is a heroine and should be treated as such.
He continued, “As we celebrate International Women’s Day, remember that a gender-equal world that is free from prejudice and discrimination is a collective project that is aimed at promoting equity, equality and Justice”.
Okeke also announced that in commemoration of the International Women’s Day, the NBA Abuja branch will sponsor 10 Young Female Lawyers to the upcoming 2023 NBA Women Forum Conference, scheduled to hold in Abuja from 30th to 31st, March 2023.
