Replacement Of President FCT Customary Court: NBA Calls For Comments, Lists Candidates

President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Mr. Yakubu Chonoko Maikyau, OON, SAN has requested members of the Bar to send in their comments on the suitability or otherwise of the under listed Judges, who are being considered for appointment as President of the Customary Court of Appeal of the Federal Capital Territory. They are:

i. Hon. Justice Stanley Adekunle Lawal;
ii. Hon. Justice (Dr) Ngozika Uwazunrunonye Okaisabor and;
iii. Hon. Justice Istifanus Gandu.

In a statement forwarded to The Metro Lawyer (TML) news desk,  Maikyau said the shortlist which was forwarded by the FCT Chief Judge as Chairman of the FCT Judicial Service Commission, is in line with the process for the replacement of the retired President of the Court, the Honourable Justice Abaazi Musa Abubakar Saddeeq, FICMC.
