I wish to congratulate the General Secretary of our Association, Mrs Joyce Oduah on the attainment of her new position as the very first female to occupy the office of the Vice President, West Africa of the Pan Africa Lawyers Union (PALU).
Your track record as the General Secretary did not leave us doubting of your capacity and capability to become more and we take pride in your accomplishments for yourself, the Nigerian Bar Association and the women folk.
We are certain that this three year tenure of yours will see a rapid development in law at all levels and will also pave way for more women to be at the helm of affairs in various endeavours.
As you embark on this continental journey, may you be a resounding success as you have been at the national level. Once again, congratulations.
