At this point in time in our Nation Building when indeed the judiciary is the last hope of the common man and Lawyers who are ministers in the temple of justice are the agents to push that hope of the common man and promote the rule of law; it is with a happy heart that I commend and congratulate the Chairman Nigerian Bar Association Effurun Branch, the Executive Council and the entire members of the Branch on the occasion of its Annual Law Week holding from 25th to 27 May, 2022.
I am particularly delighted with the Theme of the Law Week tagged: “THE ROLE OF THE JUDICIARY IN NATION BUILDING” Indeed, no other time is more apt than now for a discourse of a topical issue as coined in the theme. The Political arena is set for yet another season of electioneering process which would lead to the emergence of new leaders for our Country. The courts will no doubt be inundated with cases and our Judges would as usual be foisted with the responsibility of redeeming the image of the Nation.
Not only is the theme educative, it is equally enlightening and impacting. I know that the week would indeed be positively eventful and refreshing for the members.
I therefore wish the entire members of the NBA Effurun Branch a fruitful and very successful deliberation!
