CLASFON To Hold A Two-Day Judiciary Stakeholders Summit In Abuja

The Directorate of Anti corruption, Rule of Law and Good Governance (DARG), a body under the Christian Lawyers Fellowship of Nigeria (CLASFON) has concluded plans to hold a summit for stakeholders of the Judiciary including litigants and the general in Abuja.

Details of the Summit which will be chaired by Hon. Justice John Inyang Okoro (JSC) with Hon. Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf (Chief Judge, FCT High Court) and Hon. Justice Benedict Bakwaph Kanyip, PhD. (President, National Industrial Court of Nigeria) as special guests, are as follows:

Date: 18th to 19th May, 2022
Time: 9.30am
Venue: Ceremonial Court, FCT High Court, Maitama, Abuja.

Dr Wole Olufon will be a special guest and Keynote speaker at the summit; which will feature certificated workshops and training for Judges, Registrars, Administrative staff, etc. by the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies. An Anti-Corruption complaints desk will also be launched at the Summit.

Special robust plenary sessions will be facilitated by eminent speakers and discussants such as Prof. Yemi Akinseye George, SAN; A. T. Kehinde, SAN; Maj Lancelot Anyanya (rtd); Ikeazor Akaraiwe, SAN; Hon. Justice Angela Olatuka; and Hon. Justice P. A. Galumje (JSC) Rtd.

A statement by Prof. John Akintayo (President CLASFON) and Beauty Lawrence-Uwaokhonye (Director-DARG) indicates that admission is free but registration is required for participation in the Summit.
