“I congratulate the Executive Members of the Young Lawyers Forum of the Effurun Branch on the occasion of their Annual Summit.

I commend you not only for the display of leadership and sheer doggedness in hosting a summit amidst the economic realities of the present days which are almost epileptic; but for the aptness of the theme – “Young & Brave: Taking the lead for a better Legal Society”, which validates and gives credence to the objectives of the Forum.

It was Joe E. Lewis who said ” You are only young once and if you work it right, once is enough”. With summits like this, I am certain that you are working it right.
As Lawyers, and indeed as young lawyers with the energy and vigor you possess, now is the time to set the pace and leave indelible trails, now is the time to lead with bravery for a better legal system that works for all.

With the line of proficient and astute resource persons, I am certain that summit will provoke the desired inspiration and results.

It is generally said that we become who we choose to become, I urge you to tow the part of bravery which is never out of fashion and take the lead.

Congratulations.”
