A foremost member of the Abuja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA Unity Bar), Mrs MOHAMMED Adama has today, 14th April 2022 picked up her nomination form for the position of Secretary in the upcoming elections into the NBA Abuja Branch (Unity Bar) Executive.
With her were a number of lawyers, her classmates, fellow FIDANs and a host of well-wishers.
At the history making event which took place at the office of Chairman emeritus of the Unity Bar, Mr Abimbola Kayode, Esq., the legal amazon stated “Today, we took the 1st step in making history at the NBA Unity Bar in an attempt to shatter the glass ceiling, God willing. We are aiming for Gender Balancing for an all inclusive Bar: We are CAPABLE, COMPETENT & QUALIFIED!”
Noting her great passion for the Bar, Hajia Halima stated that MOHAMMED Adama has the wherewithal to be the NBA Abuja Branch Secretary, and a great one at that, while a university classmate of the aspirant Mrs Victoria Amarachukwu Ogine said she trusts her to be at the top as she had always led right from school.
MOHAMMED Adama who is also the State Lead for the Abuja Chapter of the Nigerian Bar Association Women’s Forum (NBA-WF), is aspiring to the position of Secretary of the NBA Abuja Branch (UNITY BAR)
She has also served as the first female Provost of the Abuja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association and is the immediate past Treasurer of the International Federation of Women Lawyers Nigeria (FIDA-Nig.), Abuja Branch.
