Y. C. Maikyau, SAN Congratulates Prof U.U. Chukwumaeze, SAN On His Appointment As Acting Vice Chancellor Of Imo State University, Owerri

The Chairman of the Welfare Committee of the Nigerian Bar Association, Y.C. Maikyau, SAN, has congratulated his fellow Silk, Prof. U.U. Chukwumaeze, SAN, on his deserved appointment as the Acting Vice Chancellor of Imo State University, Owerri, by the Governor and Visitor to the University, Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma.

In his congratulatory message, Maikyau, SAN, described Chukwumaeze, SAN, as a seasoned Professor of Criminal Law, an astute University administrator, who has served the University in many capacities, including as the Dean, Faculty of Law and Dean, School of Postgraduate Studies.

He said, “the news of your appointment did not come to us as a surprise given your outstanding pedigree, long-standing reputation as a seasoned administrator and  towering status as one of the finest Professors of Criminal Law in Nigeria. It is my prayer and that of all my  Partners that, God Almighty will grant you the wisdom and equip you with all you will require to take the Institution to more enviable heights.”
