The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Nigerian Bar Association has approved the preferred date of Saturday, 16th of July, 2022 for the conduct of the election of its new Executive, among the dates suggested by the Electoral Committee of the NBA (ECNBA).
This and other resolutions were reached at the ongoing NBA-NEC meeting.
Other resolutions by the NEC are:
1. Shortening of the election duration from 48 hours to 24 hours;
2. Dissolution of the Governing Council of the Young Lawyers Forum; and
3. Constitution of a Caretaker Committee on Young Lawyers
