I congratulate the Branch Chairman, Executive Committee and the entire members of the Branch on this auspicious occasion, particularly, the groundbreaking commissioning of the Chief Charles E.N. Obegolu Bar Center and for choosing to host the Eastern Bar Forum (EBF) Quarterly Meeting, held on the 11th and 12th of February 2022, in Anambra State.

Indeed, the Branch has demonstrated the oft-quoted truism that, “alone we can do little, together we can do so much”.

Flowing from this, I must commend the Branch for taking steps in the right direction. The Branch strategically set the Theme – LEGAL PRACTICE IN CONTEMPORARY NIGERIA: WAY TO GO to headline its Law Week activities and I am indeed convinced that members of the Bar and attendeesat the occasion found the event impactful and memorable. I wish the Branch success in her activities.
