Late Hauwa Shekarau’s FRSC Special Marshal Comrades Pay Condolence Visit To Family

A delegation of Special Marshals of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FCT Sector Command RS7.1 have paid a condolence visit to the family of the late Chairman of Abuja Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, Dr Hauwa Shekarau.

Defying the heavy rains Thursday evening, the delegation which was led by the Zonal Coordinator, FRSC RS 7 Headquarters, Special Marshal Unit Engr. Usman Adaji and the FCT Sector RS7.1 Coordinator of the FRSC Special Marshal Unit, Comrade Sanni Adisa Surajudeen was received by a representative of the deceased’s family.

Welcoming the delegation, her brother stated that the family has accepted her death as the will of God and said their sister lived a short but impactful life.

In his remarks the Zonal Coordinator, Engr Adaji noted “This is a great loss to the Special Marshal family…she will be greatly missed because she was a very wonderful person. We pray that God grants her eternal rest, and grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.”

Coincidentally Engr. Usman Adaji was the FCT Sector Coordinator of FRSC Special Marshal when late Dr. Hauwa Shekarau introduced NBA Abuja Special Marshal Unit; the first of its kind.

Also speaking after signing the condolence register, the state coordinator Comrade Sanni Adisa Surajudeen said, “We are here to commiserate with the family of late SM Hauwa Shekarau over the loss of our dear one. It is our prayer that the Lord grants her peaceful rest. As we all know, SM Hauwa is loving, humble, very responsible, committed and dedicated. She is ready to take corrections at all times, regardless of her status in the society. I pray that others emulate this attitude of hers. Despite her death, we believe she is still a part of us. That is why you see this large turn up of Special Marshals here to condole with the family.”
