“To me this is another beginning for this branch the unity branch and you can see from the name UNITY, by the grace of God we will showcase unity. You know Abuja branch is in a cosmopolitan town whereby every tribe, every tongue, every state, no matter how small a group, is represented here. So this branch is a microcosm of the entire country and represents our unity.”
While thanking everyone who came to support and felicitate with the branch on the grand occasion, Chairman of the branch Dr Hauwa Shekarau stated, ” We believe that we cannot claim to be the numero uno branch if we do not have a secretariat of our own. Our desire and plan is that in the next few years, we should be able to move to our own permanent site. My desire is that before the end of our tenure next year June we would have done the ground breaking of our permanent site. We have singled out Chief J.K. Gadzama SAN to commission and declare this office open because he is one man that has solidly supported this branch for as long as I know. Since I joined this branch in 1995 there has never been a time that the Unity Bar came to J.K. Gadzama, SAN for support and never got it. Honour must be given to whom honour is due.”
