Excitement As NBA Lagos Launches Inaugural Premier Bar League

The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) Lagos Branch has unveiled the Premier Bar League 2025, a groundbreaking football tournament aimed at fostering unity and camaraderie among legal professionals.
Set to kick off on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at the Turf Arena in Oniru Estate, Victoria Island, the league promises an exciting blend of sportsmanship and networking within the legal community.
Speaking at the draw ceremony, League Committee Chairman Mr. Kunle Olaofe emphasized that the competition is designed not only to encourage lawyers to participate in sporting activities but also to provide a platform for professional interaction and collaboration.
Similarly, NBA Lagos Chairman, Mr. Bisi Makanjuola, represented by Mrs. Uchenna Akingbade, highlighted the league’s goal of promoting physical activity, teamwork, and solidarity among members of the legal profession.
The Premier Bar League 2025 will run from February 16 to April 13, 2025, featuring 16 teams—12 male and 4 female—competing for prestigious prizes under the guidance of Technical Partner, Mr. Olujimi Olujide-Poko.
The male teams have been divided into two groups:
Group A: Tats Africa, Grey FC, NBA Young Boys FC, Unilawrin Alumni FC, Shield United FC, Nexus FC.
Group B: Unilawrin Alumni United, Falana & Falana, CLG All Stars, Welfare FC, Gavalex FC, Legal FC.
With anticipation building, the Premier Bar League 2025 is set to deliver thrilling football action while strengthening professional bonds within the legal community.
